Model 400-N
The LOTIS® 400-N is a high-speed rotating
laser-based inspection system primarily used in the nondestructive evaluation of boilers, heat exchangers and steam generators.
The system provides an accurate and detailed computer-graphic map of the tube inside surface and is useful for detecting and
quantifying flaws caused by corrosion, erosion and deformation. Features such as I.D. pits, cracks and dents and be accurately
located and measured prior to failure. The system is provided with a variety of probe sizes from 0.46 inch (11.7mm) up to
3.94 inches (100 mm) and greater. LOTIS® has found wide application
for the inspection of boilers in fossil fired power plants and pulp and paper mills as well as for heat exchangers in petrochemical
plants.
