AutoTelem
QUEST has developed AutoTelemTM software for automated telemetry format layout. It constructs minimum bandwidth pulse code modulated (PCM)
formats based on required data acquisition rates. Current manual methods for telemetry frame construction is extremely
labor intensive and usually results in inefficient use of the limited telemetry channel bandwidth. The
number of aircraft measurements has increased exponentially, while the available bandwidth has decreased as the military frequency
spectrum has been sold to commercial customers. AutoTelem automates the design process, allows faster design turnaround,
maximizes the amount of data transmitted, and reduces the dependency on experts.
AutoTelem is available as a stand alone product or as COM module. In the COM configuration,
it is available as an add on to Iliad.
